02/23/2026, 14:50In 2025, 466 projects worth 1.145 billion KGS were financed in Kyrgyzstan under the Incentive Grants project. The financing was provided from the republican budget, according to the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The total amount of funds utilised was 95.4% of the revised plan. The funds were allocated to the development of social and engineering infrastructure in the regions.
The funding was distributed among the regions as follows:
A significant part of the projects were implemented in the field of education and infrastructure. In particular, 153 schools were financed for 327.4 million KGS, 73 kindergartens for 151.8 million KGS, 47 cultural facilities for 100.7 million KGS and 21 sports facilities for 54.3 million KGS.
In addition, funds were allocated to 11 healthcare institutions (21.8 million KGS) and 161 engineering and communications infrastructure facilities for a total of 489.0 million KGS.
The Incentive Grants project aims to support regional development, improve the quality of social infrastructure and address key issues at the local level.
