The National Bank will transfer 100% of its profits to the budget — profits for the first nine months amounted to 33 billion KGS

President Sadyr Zhaparov signed a constitutional law according to which all profits of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025 will be transferred to the republican budget after confirmation of the financial statements by independent auditors.

According to the third quarter report, the regulator's profit reached 33.2 billion KGS, which is 13 times higher than in the same period last year.

The law suspends certain provisions of the previous law on the distribution of profits of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and repeals Constitutional Law No. 34 of 5 February 2025. The new law will come into force seven days after its official publication.
