10/21/2025, 08:33The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan continues to improve its financial performance. According to its third quarter report, the regulator's profit reached 33 billion 247.6 million KGS.
This is more than 13 times higher than the result for the same period in 2024, when the bank earned only 2 billion 576.4 million KGS.
The growth in profit was primarily driven by foreign exchange transactions and the revaluation of monetary gold. Reserves in these positions grew almost 2.7 times, from 68.4 billion to 182.4 billion KGS. This reflects the positive impact of favourable price conditions on the global gold market.
The National Bank's total capital increased from 83.3 billion to 227.9 billion KGS, and the regulator's total liabilities and capital amounted to 797.9 billion KGS. This is almost 53% higher than in the same period last year.
Thus, the National Bank not only maintained the positive dynamics recorded in 2024, when profits reached a historic high of 45.7 billion KGS, but also continues to show financial stability even in the context of volatile global markets.
