07/01/2025, 10:59On July 3, an auction will be held on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange for the placement of government treasury bills with a maturity of 12 months. This was reported on the exchange's website.
The Ministry of Finance intends to raise 300 million KGS for the budget through the bills.
The previous auction for the placement of treasury bills took place on June 5 this year. At that time, the Ministry of Finance raised 210 million 180 thousand KGS. The initial volume of state bills issued was 200 million KGS. However, investor demand exceeded supply by 5.1% or 10.18 million KGS. As a result, the Ministry of Finance decided to fully satisfy the demand.
We would like to add that the yield on bills at the end of the last auction was 10.65%. The total amount of the state's obligations on bills as of June 30 was estimated at 2 billion 168.4 million KGS.
