    In four months, the Talas region received 190.8 million KGS from the budget

    In January–April 2025, the Talas region received 190.8 million KGS from the republican budget. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.

    Of the total amount, 126.7 million KGS were interbudgetary transfers aimed at implementing state programs and supporting local authorities.

    The largest part of these funds, 56.7 million KGS, was allocated to equalization transfers. Another 54.3 million KGS was allocated to subsidize municipal heat supply enterprises.

    The following additional funds were allocated:

    • 5.4 million KGS for the development of master plans for settlements;
    • 4.2 million KGS for the financing of preschool institutions;
    • 3 million KGS as part of the prize for the winners of the “Best Ayil Okmotu” competition;
    • 1.6 million KGS for the implementation of certain state powers;

    1.5 million KGS for partial (50%) compensation of electricity costs.

    In addition, 64.1 million KGS were allocated separately to compensate for electricity costs incurred by local government bodies (ayyl okmotu) in the Talas region.
