03/03/2026, 10:44The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan increased the preliminary volume of government treasury bonds issued for March 2026. This was reported by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. The total volume of placement will now amount to 65 billion KGS.
The key change was the inclusion in the schedule of a 15-year issue of the GBA15410304 series with a coupon rate of 3% and a volume of 60 billion KGS. The auction for it is scheduled for today with an issue date of 4 March. Also in March, there are plans to place 10-year bonds at 8% for 1.8 billion KGS and 5-year securities at 6% for 1.4 billion KGS.
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance announced a preliminary borrowing volume of 8.5 billion KGS. The initial plan included a 3-year issue of GBB03290302 at 12.86% for 3.5 billion KGS, as well as the same 5- and 10-year securities. Thus, the March borrowing programme was significantly expanded due to the long-term 15-year issue.
