The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan has signed a memorandum with the Korean corporation KDHC

The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and the Korea District Heating Corporation (KDHC) have agreed to develop a partnership, according to the ministry's press service.

On 9 September, Deputy Minister of Energy Altynbek Rysbekov held talks with KDHC Director Chung Yeon-gi. The parties discussed opportunities for joint projects in the energy sector, the exchange of experience and technology, the training of specialists, and participation in official development assistance (ODA) programmes funded by the Government of the Republic of Korea.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the aim of deepening cooperation in the energy sector, exchanging knowledge and personnel, and implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

It should be added that KDHC is a Korean state-owned enterprise based in Bundang. The company is one of the largest players in the field of district heating and is actively developing projects in the field of green energy.
