The Minister of Energy demanded strict adherence to the schedule for power cuts in schools and universities

Taalaybek Ibraev demanded that subordinate structures strictly comply with the government's decision on energy conservation.

Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev instructed that the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers' Order No. 949-t of 5 November 2025, aimed at saving electricity, be strictly enforced.

The head of the department paid particular attention to the situation in educational institutions. According to him, power cuts should be carried out strictly after the end of classes and before they begin, so as not to disrupt the educational process.

Ibraev stressed that any deviation from the established order will be considered a violation of executive discipline. Managers who allow such cases will be held personally responsible.

The minister noted that the issue of energy conservation is under his personal control and called on all energy sector organisations to act strictly within the framework of the government's order.
