Ministry of Agriculture receives 44 new official vehicles

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev handed over 44 official vehicles with a total value of 92.6 million KGS to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry. The vehicles will be used by the Water Resources Service and the Fisheries Department.

Kasymaliyev emphasised that the agricultural sector is a key driver of the country's economy.

‘There are 425 processing enterprises operating in Kyrgyzstan, and 119 new ones were opened in 2025, more than half of which are related to agriculture and processing,’ he said.

He also focused on the modernisation of the irrigation system, with 1.7 billion KGS allocated for water management works in the first 11 months of 2025 and 286 units of specialised equipment purchased.

At the same time, a food fair with prices below market rates continues in Bishkek. It is being held on T. Usubaliyev Square and in the Asanbay microdistrict, and similar fairs are planned to be organised in all regions of the country before the summer period.
