    In Kyrgyzstan, the number of people employed in paid public works increased by 22%

    The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration reports that as of 1 June 2025, employment services have referred 3,297 unemployed citizens to vocational training.

    This measure is aimed at improving the competitiveness of unemployed people in the labour market, taking into account the professions in demand.

    Training was provided in the most sought-after specialities: computer operator, sales agent, cook, beautician, hairdresser, manicurist, massage therapist, make-up artist, translator, accountant, car driver, electric and gas welder, plumber, seamstress, tailor and beekeeper.
    In addition, as of 1 June 2025, 4,537 unemployed people were temporarily employed in paid public works, which is 22% more than in the same period last year (3,550 people).

    Unemployment benefits are being received by 64 citizens. The Ministry continues to work on supporting the unemployed and developing professional skills to improve their opportunities in the labour market.
