The Ministry of Health has received 100 new vehicles for use in the regions

In Bishkek, 100 domestically manufactured service vehicles were handed over to the Ministry of Health. The keys were presented by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

The vehicles were handed over ahead of Healthcare Workers’ Day and are intended to improve the mobility of medical staff, particularly in the regions and hard-to-reach areas.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the healthcare budget has risen from 21.5 billion KGS in 2021 to 52 billion KGS in 2025. Since 1 April this year, an additional 18.5 billion KGS has been allocated to increase healthcare workers’ salaries.

During the event, the Prime Minister noted that access to healthcare must be equal regardless of place of residence, and that the development of healthcare is one of the key priorities of state policy.
