These goods include textiles, cashmere, and meat products, which will diversify the range of products available on the Union's domestic market and better meet consumer demand. According to EEC Trade Minister Andrei Slepnev, this will diversify the range of goods on the Union's domestic market and better meet consumer demand.
Measures to increase supplies have been agreed as part of a temporary trade agreement with Mongolia, signed on June 27, 2025, in Minsk. At a seminar on developing sectoral cooperation with Mongolia, participants also discussed removing technical barriers to trade and raising awareness of potential partners, which will simplify mutual access to markets for goods.
The implementation of these initiatives will form the basis for upcoming meetings of the joint committee on the implementation of the agreement and subsequent consultations between the EAEU and Mongolia.
