07/25/2025, 11:16Measures will be taken against violators who seize the Issyk-Kul coastline and demand payment from tourists for relaxing on the beaches. This was announced by the head of the presidential administration's information policy service, Dayirbek Orunbekov.
He noted that in the midst of the tourist season, it is especially important to maintain respect and hospitality towards guests. On the instructions of the president, all fences along the shore were removed to ensure free access to the lake for all residents and tourists. However, some beaches have been taken over by unscrupulous individuals who illegally occupy the territory, set up umbrellas, and demand payment from vacationers.
Such actions damage the reputation of the region and scare away tourists. Local authorities have already issued warnings, and strict measures will follow for such violations in the future.
Orunbekov called on everyone to engage in tourism honestly and with respect, ensuring cleanliness and comfort for guests in order to create conditions for their return next season.
