Almost 28.7 million KGS will be allocated for the major refurbishment of the Musa Zhangaziev Kyrgyz State Puppet Theatre building

The ‘Musa Zhangaziev Kyrgyz State Puppet Theatre’ has announced a tender for the major refurbishment of the building’s exterior. The information has been published on the public procurement portal.

The planned procurement amount is 28,735,201 KGS. The work will be carried out as part of the first phase of major refurbishment of the theatre building, located at 230a Abdrakhmanov Street in Bishkek.

The contractor will be selected following an open two-stage tender. The deadline for submitting tenders is 22 July 2026, and the successful tenderer must complete the refurbishment within 120 calendar days of the contract being signed.

Under the terms of the tender, the contractor must have experience of carrying out similar projects worth at least 25 million KGS, a valid construction licence, the necessary equipment, qualified specialists and proven financial stability. The warranty period for the work carried out will be 12 months.
