07/14/2026, 15:02In Kyrgyzstan, plans are in place to produce between five and seven television plays this year. Between 500,000 and 1 million soms will be allocated from the state budget for the production of each one. This was announced by the Minister of Culture, Mirbek Mambetaliev.
According to him, the television plays are being produced so that people in the regions, who are unable to visit theatres in Bishkek and Osh, can watch theatrical productions on television.
He added that the television plays are aimed not only at children but also at an adult audience.
