A factory in Tokmok has begun restoring tires from trucks

The restoration of truck tires has resumed in Tokmok, carried out by a branch of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC. The tire processing plant is equipped with Italian-made Matteuzzi equipment, and the staff has undergone training. The company currently works with high-quality materials from Turkey and India.

Tires with a solid metal frame that are no more than five years old are eligible for restoration. Leading brands of tires can undergo up to five restoration cycles with a total mileage of up to one million kilometers. Chinese and Russian tires can undergo only one cycle with a service life of about 300,000 km.

The cold line has been launched in test mode, while the hot line is still being prepared for launch. The plant uses both cold and hot restoration methods, which will reduce costs and extend the service life of tires, including those used in the mining industry.
