National Statistics Committee Monitors Progress of Agricultural Census in Regions

Baktybek Kudaybergenov, Chairman of the National Statistics Committee, visited the Jalal-Abad Region as part of a working trip and reviewed the progress of the agricultural census.

During the visit, the chairman met with Tileq Tekebaev, the President’s plenipotentiary representative in the Jalal-Abad region. They discussed issues related to the organization and progress of the census in the region, including the collection of data on cultivated areas, livestock numbers, land use structure, and the main sectors of agricultural production.

A meeting was also held with Damir Kulubaev, the akim of the Suzak District. They reviewed current issues regarding the conduct of the census, cooperation with local government bodies, and ensuring the completeness and reliability of the collected data. Special attention was paid to the implementation of digital tools for recording and processing information, which enhances the timeliness and accuracy of statistical data.

As part of his working visit, Baktybek Kudaybergenov visited a farm in the Barpinsky Aiyl Aimag of the Suzak District, where he familiarized himself with the operations of an enterprise specializing in the implementation of modern methods of animal husbandry and feeding. The enterprise breeds Angus beef cattle, a breed distinguished by high meat productivity, good adaptation to various climatic conditions, and high-quality taste characteristics of the products.
