The deadline for transitioning to a single tax for those working abroad has been extended to March 1

The State Tax Service has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting applications to switch to the simplified taxation system for those operating outside the country.

As the agency reminded, from January 1, 2026, such taxpayers are required to apply a special tax regime based on a single tax at a rate of 0.1%. In accordance with current legislation, applications for transition to this regime had to be submitted by February 1, 2026, to the territorial authorities at the place of tax registration.

However, due to the number of requests received from entrepreneurs and self-employed citizens, the deadline for submitting applications was extended to March 1.

The State Tax Service emphasized that the extension was due to the need to ensure equal conditions for all taxpayers and to allow additional time for processing documents.
