This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev at a meeting of the Ministry of Economy's board on the results of 2025.
Despite global challenges, he said, Kyrgyzstan managed to maintain high growth rates.
"We understand that sustainable development is impossible without stability. In 2025, the country enjoyed socio-political and economic stability. On this basis, the consolidated budget exceeded 1 trillion KGS," he emphasized.
Torobaev noted that this indicator was an important milestone in the financial history of the state. He cited a comparison of the consolidated budget with 2020 as an example. During this time, it grew almost fivefold — from 247.8 billion KGS to 1 trillion 101 billion KGS at the end of 2025.
In his speech, he paid special attention to structural changes in the economy.
"Our main success is not just dry figures, but qualitative transformations. The economy has confidently transitioned from a consumer model to an investment-industrial one. By the end of 2025, GDP had grown by 11.1% and, in real terms, approached the historic milestone of 2 trillion KGS," the deputy prime minister noted.
He added that these results were a natural outcome of steady economic growth of around 10% in recent years, as well as consistent government policy in the areas of industrial development, investment, and infrastructure.
