The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has approved the appointments of audit directors at two banks

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has approved the nominations for senior audit positions at Alma Finance Bank and Demir Bank. The decisions were taken on 20 August.

Talgara Kiyshibaev has been approved for the post of Chair of the Audit Committee at Alma Finance Bank. He is a member of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund.

Cholpon Jekshenbaeva has been approved for the post of Head of the Internal Audit Department at Demir Bank.

The relevant candidates were put forward by the banks for consideration by the regulator.

It should be added that ‘Demir Bank’ has been operating in the Kyrgyz market for over 29 years, since May 1997, whilst ‘Alma Finance Bank’ only received its licence from the regulator in January of this year.
