National Bank extends support measures to the affected people in Batken and Osh oblasts

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has amended some resolutions related to support for clients of financial organizations who suffered in the armed conflict in Batken and Osh oblasts. These measures will continue until March 2025, which will allow extending the terms of financial assistance.

Following the changes approved by the Board of the National Bank, the term of validity of temporary decisions on the support of borrowers is extended from September 30, 2024, to March 30, 2025. This applies to both commercial banks and non-bank financial and credit organizations.

The extension includes two key documents:
- a decree of October 6, 2022, related to support for conflict-affected clients;
- a decree dated November 18, 2022, regulating the loans issuance in Batken oblast.

These measures are aimed at further supporting citizens and businesses facing the consequences of the conflict by easing credit conditions and providing favourable conditions for the affected regions.

The Resolution comes into force from the date of its official publication.
