08/28/2025, 17:46The National Bank has extended the validity of banking licenses under a special regulatory regime for two companies: Regional Payment Systems LLC and Quickpay System LLC.
The relevant resolutions of the Payment System Committee were adopted on August 22, 2025. The licenses are now valid until February 28, 2026.
The extension of the licenses is subject to compliance with all the conditions and requirements set out in the technical specifications for the licenses. The companies have the right to issue their own electronic money into circulation, both in exchange for cash and non-cash funds. Electronic money holders will be able to carry out various operations with it, including redemption.
Thus, both companies continue to operate within the regulatory framework of the National Bank, providing the population and businesses with services for the issuance and circulation of electronic money.
