08/24/2025, 14:13The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan significantly expanded the issue of its own notes during the summer of 2025. This is indicated by data from the regulator.
While at the beginning of June there were about 10 billion soms in circulation, by August the volume had grown to 13 billion soms. Thus, in two months, the indicator increased by almost 30%.
The main share is traditionally held by 7-day notes (10 billion soms). Since June, the regulator has begun to more actively place 91- and 182-day issues, which has allowed the total volume to grow.
