This large-scale modernisation will enable the phased replacement of outdated equipment, improving the reliability and efficiency of the power grid.
The new transformers will reduce electricity losses, improve the quality of power supply and ensure the stability of the grids under increasing loads.
The equipment will be installed in stages over the course of the year as part of the Modernisation and Sustainability of the Electricity Sector and Preparation for the Upcoming Autumn-Winter Period project.
