Islamic financing volume has grown by 82.4% since the beginning of the year

The volume of financing provided in Kyrgyzstan according to Islamic principles has increased significantly since the beginning of the year. According to the regulator, at the end of the reporting period, it reached 16.5 billion KGS, which is 82.4% higher than at the end of 2024 (9 billion KGS).

Growth is observed in all major segments of Islamic financing, which continue to expand as interest from the population and business grows.

Financing structure by sector:

• industry — the volume increased to 400 million KGS (+29.4%);
• agriculture — 2.1 billion KGS (+55%);
• trade — 1.2 billion KGS (+22.6%);
• construction — 800 million KGS (+66.5%);
• mortgages — 6.2 billion KGS (+91.7%);
• consumer financing – 4 billion KGS (+148.2%).
• other areas – 1.7 billion KGS (+68.3%).

The growth is due to the expansion of the product line of Islamic financial services and increased demand from households, especially in terms of mortgage and consumer programs.
