Kaindy-Kant bondholders received income in foreign currency

Kaindy-Kant OJSC has paid coupon income on its second issue of foreign currency bonds, confirming its status as one of the few issuers on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange offering foreign currency instruments.

All 24 bondholders received income during the first interest period of the issue (ISIN: KG0202069322). Total payments amounted to $3,316.8 (290,054.16 KGS); obligations were fulfilled in full, with no delays or defaults.

At present, ‘Kaindy-Kant’ remains effectively the only issuer on the KFB whose bonds are denominated in foreign currency. The vast majority of corporate securities on the exchange are denominated in KGS, including issues by banks, microfinance organisations and state-owned companies.

Furthermore, “Kaindy-Kant” is one of the few companies that actively utilises the exchange’s commodities and raw materials sector instruments.
