10/28/2026, 14:47Sellers from Kyrgyzstan who ship goods for export through marketplaces must carefully check the accompanying documents, product codes, and manufacturer information. Errors in documentation can lead to delays for the entire truckload, said Evgeniya Savenkova-Petrichenko, head of commerce for Wildberries in Kyrgyzstan.
“If one of the partners enters an incorrect HS code or makes a mistake in other data, the entire truckload will be held up. Therefore, the responsibility lies with every participant in the shipment,” she said.
Effective June 1, 2026, a system for confirming the arrival of goods (SPOT) has been in effect for road shipments of goods from Eurasian Economic Union countries to Russia. To cross the border, the carrier must have a QR code containing shipment information.
According to Savenkova-Petrichenko, the platform has organized the transfer of the necessary data to the government system to simplify the procedure for sellers. However, businesses still need to correctly fill out product information and prepare the required documents.
In particular, for shipments to the Wildberries warehouse in Russia, sellers may need an international CMR consignment note, a consignment note, and an electronic invoice. It is also necessary to correctly specify the HS code and the country of origin.
Another requirement concerns labeling. For certain product categories, it is necessary to check in advance whether a control and identification mark is required and what rules apply to shipments to Russia.
“Now, sales volume depends not only on marketing. It used to be clear how important it was to have a good product listing and to launch advertising campaigns. But it came as a surprise just how much SPOT affects business,” noted Savenkova-Petrichenko.
Thus, for entrepreneurs operating in foreign markets through marketplaces, document preparation becomes part of the sales process: errors can affect delivery times and the availability of goods to buyers.
