According to the Social Fund, the new automated information system (AIS) will independently collect data on citizens’ employment history and income, calculate pension amounts and process payments proactively.
Citizens will no longer need to visit branches in person or submit documents. One month before reaching retirement age, a notification will be sent to their personal account on the ‘Tündük’ app.
Upon receiving the notification, users will need to select a bank for their pension payments to be credited to.
The Social Fund notes that, to ensure the system works correctly, citizens are advised to register with ‘Tündük’ in advance and check that their details are up to date.
The Social Fund has promised to provide further details on the exact date of the automated system’s full launch. Preparations for the service’s roll-out are currently underway.
