Adylbek Kasymaliev took part in the meeting of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow

The Kyrgyz delegation headed by First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev participated in a regular meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which was held in Moscow.

The participants exchanged views on pressing issues of economic cooperation within the Commonwealth and discussed measures on further deepening trade and economic ties between the CIS member countries.

Following the meeting of the CIS Economic Council, 16 decisions were signed on issues related to mutual trade, amendments to regulations on the remuneration of employees of CIS bodies, aviation and airspace, as well as cooperation in the transport sector.

The issues of spatial data exchange for the CIS geoportal filling, partnership in shipbuilding and groundwater protection, digital transformation of the transportation complex and transboundary transportation of radioactive materials were also discussed.

The Council reviewed the implementation of innovative cooperation programs until 2030, the activities of basic organizations in the economic and medical spheres, and the continuation of the search for military personnel missing in Afghanistan. In addition, the financing of CIS bodies and programs and the approval of a unified budget were considered.
