05/30/2025, 12:41Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev received mountaineer Asel Baibagysheva, who became the first woman from Kyrgyzstan to conquer the highest point in the world, Mount Everest.
During the meeting, the head of the Cabinet presented Asel Baibagysheva with a certificate worth 500,000 soms as a sign of deep recognition of her outstanding achievement and support.
In turn, Asel Baibagysheva presented Adylbek Kasymaliyev with the national flag of Kyrgyzstan, which she had planted on the summit of the world. In addition, the climber presented the head of the Cabinet with a stone from Everest.
During the conversation, Asel Baibagysheva shared her impressions of the climb and talked about the difficulties she faced.
Adylbek Kasymaliyev emphasised that her climb is a shining example for the younger generation and a significant contribution to strengthening Kyrgyzstan's international image.
At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the further development of mountaineering and support for mountain tourism in the country.
