12/18/2025, 09:54A Kyrgyz-Afghan business forum was held in the Afghan capital, Kabul, organized by the Kyrgyz Export Center in conjunction with the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
During the forum, Urmat Takirov, director of the Kyrgyz Export Center, presented Kyrgyzstan's export potential to representatives of Afghan businesses. As a result of the event, 11 agreements of intent were signed for the supply of goods and services totaling $157 million. The agreements cover areas such as telecommunications equipment, cement, footwear, medicines, honey, logistics services, and agricultural products.
More than 100 representatives of government agencies and business circles from both countries took part in the business forum.
The Kyrgyz delegation was led by Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov. During the minister's visit to Kabul, the Kyrgyz Trade House was opened, and a series of bilateral meetings were held to discuss prospects for expanding mutual trade, developing export cooperation, and implementing joint projects.
