Following the suspension of the cable car service in Orlovka, the company was fined 20,000 KGS

In Orlovka, following the temporary suspension of the cable car service due to a power cut, the facility’s owner was fined 20,000 KGS. The inspection was carried out by the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service.

The Chui Regional Directorate of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service under the Ministry of Natural Resources investigated reports circulating online regarding the temporary suspension of the cable car at the ski resort in the town of Orlovka, Keminsky District.

The inspection revealed that the cable car’s operation had been suspended following a power cut and only resumed after the backup diesel generator was started.

Following the inspection, an administrative fine of 20,000 KGS was imposed on Entuziast LLC. A preventive discussion on compliance with safety requirements was also held with company representatives.

Information about the cable car’s shutdown had previously appeared on social media and online sources, following which the supervisory authorities initiated the inspection.
