10/09/2025, 16:32President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov arrived today, 9 October, on a working visit to the Republic of Tajikistan at the invitation of President Emomali Rahmon.
The Head of State's plane landed at Dushanbe International Airport.
The national flags of the CIS member states were displayed at the airport, a carpet was laid out, and an honor guard was lined up.
President Sadyr Zhaparov was met by Tajikistan's Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials.
During the visit, the Head of State will take part in the second Central Asia-Russia summit and
a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
A number of joint documents are also expected to be considered and adopted, aimed at giving additional impetus to practical cooperation within the CIS and in the Central Asia-Russia format.
