President Sadyr Zhaparov received Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi

Today, November 19, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov received Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including strengthening political dialogue and implementing joint projects.

Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that Kyrgyz-Chinese relations are currently at a historic high, and that each visit by Foreign Minister Wang Yi is filled with profound content and new ideas for the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China.

In this context, the Head of State focused on practical cooperation, in particular noting the construction of railways and highways, the opening of new air routes, and the implementation of joint projects in many areas.

President Sadyr Zhaparov also noted the dynamic strengthening of multilateral cooperation, primarily within the framework of the SCO and in the Central Asia-China format.

In turn, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi conveyed to Sadyr Zhaparov sincere greetings and best wishes from Chinese President Xi Jinping and expressed his readiness to make every effort to implement the agreements reached between the heads of the two states.

The Chinese Foreign Minister said that he had been in Kyrgyzstan three years ago, noting that during this time the country had achieved significant success, and added that China, as a good neighbor and friend, was sincerely pleased with this.

Wang Yi highly appreciated the level of comprehensive partnership, good neighborliness, and cooperation between the two countries. He also noted that representatives of Chinese companies operating in Kyrgyzstan are aware of the need to strictly comply with the legislation and respect the traditions of the host country.

At the end of the meeting, President Sadyr Zhaparov conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to Chinese President Xi Jinping, and wished Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi success in his government work.
