The President inspected the progress of construction of Bishkek’s new bus station

President Sadyr Japarov inspected the progress of construction of the new modern bus station complex in Bishkek.

The Head of State was presented with the design of the future transport hub, which will comprise nine functional blocks. These include a hotel for drivers and staff, a spacious waiting area for passengers, a platform, an administrative building, commercial premises, as well as parking areas for intercity and international buses. Separate parking areas are provided for cars and other vehicles.

During his tour of the construction site, Sadyr Zhaparov instructed that particular attention be paid to the quality of construction and the materials used, emphasising the importance of creating a modern and convenient infrastructure facility.

According to plans, construction of the bus station complex is due to be completed by August this year.
