The National Bank's profit exceeded 60 billion KGS — the entire amount will be transferred to the budget

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan's profit for 2025 amounted to 60.7 billion KGS, which is 32.9% more than in 2024 (45.7 billion KGS). Thus, the regulator has demonstrated record financial performance for the second year in a row.

It should be noted that 2024 was an unprecedented year. The profit of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic then grew almost 3.7 times compared to 2023 and exceeded the cumulative financial result for the previous four years (2020–2023). The favorable situation on the global gold market and the regulator's active investment policy played a significant role in this.

According to the 2025 report, the National Bank's equity increased to 297.2 billion KGS, compared to 124.9 billion KGS a year earlier. The reserve for the revaluation of foreign currency and monetary gold, as well as the profit for the reporting period, made a significant contribution to the growth of capital.

The entire financial result for 2025 will be transferred to the republican budget. Earlier, President Sadyr Zhaparov signed a constitutional law, according to which 100% of the National Bank's profits for 2025 are to be transferred to the state after the financial statements have been confirmed by an independent auditor.
