Sales and marketing have become the leading sectors in terms of the number of job vacancies in Kyrgyzstan

In the second quarter of 2026, employers in Kyrgyzstan were most in demand for specialists in sales, customer service, marketing and advertising. This is according to data from analysts at hh.kg.

According to the platform’s research, the ‘Sales and Customer Service’ sector accounted for the largest share of all active vacancies – 14.9 per cent. Compared with the same period last year, the number of such vacancies rose by 6.5 per cent.

In second place was the “Marketing, Advertising and PR” sector, accounting for 10.1 per cent of all vacancies. The number of vacancies in this sector increased by 4 per cent.

Demand also remained high for specialists in the sports, fitness and beauty industries, accounting for 7.9 per cent of vacancies. The growth in vacancies in this sector stood at 7.3%.

The sectors in highest demand also included the automotive industry (6.3%), finance and accountancy (6.1%), construction and property (4.9%), and tourism, hotels and restaurants (4.8%).

At the same time, analysts recorded the most significant year-on-year increase in the number of vacancies in the manufacturing and services sector – up by 24.1 per cent. There was also a significant increase in the number of vacancies for human resources and training specialists (+22.7 per cent), in construction and property (+18.6 per cent), senior and middle management (+18.4 per cent) and tourism (+17.7 per cent).

A decline in demand was observed only in certain sectors. For example, the number of vacancies in the information technology sector fell by 10.4 per cent, and in procurement by 1.1 per cent.
