07/10/2026, 13:25Employer activity in the Kyrgyz labour market continues to grow. By the end of the second quarter of 2026, more than 12,000 active job vacancies had been posted on the hh.kg platform, which is 6.2 per cent more than in the same period last year.
As the website’s analysts note, the high volume of vacancies remains, indicating stable demand from companies for specialists. Employers continue to expand their search for staff, despite changes in the economy and the labour market.
As is traditional, the majority of vacancies are concentrated in Bishkek. The capital accounted for 91.1 per cent of all vacancies posted, with the number of vacancies there rising by 6 per cent year-on-year.
Osh ranks second, accounting for 3.5 per cent of vacancies. In this city, the number of vacancies posted by employers increased by 12.6 per cent.
An increase in activity was also recorded in other cities. In Tokmok, the number of vacancies rose by 19.6 per cent; in Kara-Balta, by 8.9 per cent; in Kant, by 3 per cent; and in Balykchy, by 2.3 per cent.
The highest growth rates were recorded in Kyzyl-Kiya (+170%), Kadamzhay (+100%), Sokuluk (+54.2%) and Tokmok (+19.6%).
