Производство мыломоющих средств в Кыргызстане выросло почти в 6 раз

According to official statistics, the output of the manufacturing sector in Kyrgyzstan in January–February 2026 amounted to 111.2 billion KGS.

The production of basic metals and fabricated metal products continues to account for the largest share of the sector’s output — 75.5 billion KGS, or 67.9% of the total. In second place is the production of food, beverages and tobacco products (16.6 billion KGS, 14.9%). This is followed by the manufacture of rubber and plastic products and non-metallic products (9.1 billion KGS, 8.2%), as well as oil refining (4.1 billion KGS, 3.7%).

The textile industry, the manufacture of clothing and footwear, and leather goods contributed 2.6 billion KGS, or 2.3%

The industrial output index for the first two months of 2026 stood at 115.8% compared to the same period in 2025. In February, the figure reached 112.9% year-on-year.

Growth was recorded across several sectors. Chemical production more than tripled due to an expansion in the output of detergents and cleaning products. In the pharmaceutical sector, volumes increased 1.7-fold, primarily due to a rise in drug production.

The building materials segment also showed growth: output of cement and flat glass increased by approximately 1.7 times. Overall, production of rubber and plastic products, as well as non-metallic products, grew by 1.6 times.

The growth in industrial production reflects activity in key sectors of the economy and sustained demand in the domestic market.м рынке.
