06/27/2026, 18:00In the first quarter of 2026, production of the main livestock products increased in Kyrgyzstan. The highest growth was recorded in the production of chicken eggs — up by almost 25% compared with the same period last year. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
According to figures for January–March 2026, meat production (in carcass weight) totalled 55.2 thousand tonnes, which is 2% more than a year earlier. Raw milk production rose by 2.5% to 298.9 thousand tonnes.
The most significant growth was recorded in egg production. Over the three-month period, 201.9 million eggs were produced in the republic, which is 24.6% higher than the figure for the first quarter of 2025.
Vegetable oil production also increased – from 2.0 thousand to 3.1 thousand tonnes.
