06/04/2025, 12:12The General Prosecutor's Office has uncovered large-scale violations in the work of tax authorities: contrary to the law, 322 entrepreneurs were fined between 5,000 and 13,000 KGS. Although the current legislation provides only a warning in such cases, the total amount of illegal sanctions could have amounted to more than 3 million KGS.
Following the audit, the prosecutor's office brought 76 tax officials to justice, each fined 10,000 KGS, and 24 officials were disciplined. To restore legality, 76 decisions and 14 submissions were issued to eliminate violations.
Supervision of compliance with the rights of entrepreneurs continues. The Prosecutor General's Office urges businesses to report violations through the Biznesti Korgoo app or by calling the hotlines available on official resources.
