The reconstruction of Vasilyevsky Trakt continues: a new phase of work begins today

As part of measures to modernise the urban road and transport infrastructure in Bishkek, the phased reconstruction of Vasilyevsky Trakt is continuing.

The first phase of the repair works was successfully completed between 23 and 26 June. During this phase, a section of road with a total length of 8 kilometres was reconstructed.

The second phase, which took place from 27 June to 4 July, covered the section from Fuchika Street to Manas International Airport.

The third phase of the reconstruction begins today. Work will be carried out on a 7-kilometre stretch from Komsomolskaya Street to the Kyrgyz Red Cross.

To minimise disruption to road users, the street will not be completely closed. For the duration of the works, traffic in both directions will be channelled along one side of the carriageway.
