Arbitration court decisions will be subject to appeal. Sadyr Zhaparov signed amendments to the law

In Kyrgyzstan, the protection of the interests of the state and municipal structures in arbitration disputes has been strengthened. President Sadyr Zhaparov signed amendments to the Law “On Arbitration Courts in the Kyrgyz Republic,” aimed at improving the efficiency and impartiality of arbitration proceedings.

The document was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on April 10 this year.

According to the amendments, important changes are being introduced into the law concerning the possibility of appealing arbitration court decisions in courts of general jurisdiction.

This possibility is now provided for in cases where one of the parties to the arbitration dispute is a state body, local government body, state or municipal institution or enterprise, or a legal entity with state or municipal participation.

In addition, the law is supplemented by a new Article 361, which establishes the procedure for appealing arbitration court decisions.
