Urban irrigation systems in Bishkek transferred to Tazalyk maintenance from 2025

Since the beginning of 2025, all irrigation systems of Bishkek have been transferred to the municipal enterprise “Tazalyk” for maintenance. The total length of these systems is 397 thousand670 meters. Since then, the employees daily monitor cleanliness along the canals, sweeping, removing garbage and controlling the sanitary condition.

The work is carried out in all districts of the capital. Thus, in Leninsky district “Tazalyk” serves 120 streets (138 thousand 567 m), in Oktyabrsky district - 74 streets (108 thousand 79 m), in Pervomaysky district - 97 streets (81 thousand 543 m), in Sverdlovsky district - 80 streets (69 thousand 481 m). In spring 2025, two large-scale general cleanings were organized: silt, sand and accumulated garbage were removed from the canals.

The Tazalyk Municipal Enterprise continues to fulfill the task of ensuring order and sanitary safety not only in the streets, but also in the irrigation systems. These canals play an important role in the ecology of the city, and their cleanliness is a priority.
