06/29/2025, 17:12President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Cholpon-Ata. The meeting focused on key issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as interaction within integration associations, including the EAEU, the CIS and the CSTO.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasised the priority of partnership with Russia, noting the steady growth of investment, the importance of the Kyrgyz-Russian Development Fund and Kyrgyzstan's economic achievements over the past three years. He named energy, transport, digitalisation, tourism and the development of rare earth resources among the country's priorities.
Sergey Lavrov, conveying greetings from Vladimir Putin, expressed support for the reforms being carried out in Kyrgyzstan and confirmed Russia's readiness to deepen cooperation. The sides agreed to strengthen their allied relations and coordination in the international arena.
