Sadyr Zhaparov Received the Highest Order of the Turkic World in Turkey

On October 29 in Ankara, Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Zhaparov received the highest Order of the Turkic World. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented the award to the head of state during the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The decision to award Sadyr Zhaparov was made by the heads of state of the organization’s member countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Zaparov noted that he considers the award a great honor and a sign of deep respect. According to him, the order is not only a recognition of personal achievements but also a high assessment of the Kyrgyz people’s contribution to strengthening the unity of the Turkic world and developing cooperation among brotherly nations.

The president emphasized that these states are united by a shared centuries-old history, spiritual values, and the closeness of their languages and cultures. He also thanked the leaders of the OTS member states for their decision and expressed hope for further strengthening of cooperation.

As a reminder, on October 29, Sadyr Zhaparov arrived in Ankara on a working visit. As part of the trip, he is participating in the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
