04/10/2026, 14:05During a working visit to the city of Osh, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, familiarised himself with the operations of the ‘El Plast’ plant, which manufactures plastic pipes.
The plant specialises in the production of products for water supply and sewerage systems. The plant’s annual capacity is up to 15,000 tonnes. The main customers are projects under the ‘Taza Suu’ programme, as well as state and municipal bodies and international organisations.
The plant uses modern equipment, and the raw material – polyethylene granules – is imported from Russia, Iran and China.
According to the plant, between January 2025 and January 2026, products worth over 900 million KGS were manufactured and sold. Tax payments amounted to around 100 million KGS.
The Head of State inspected the production process and familiarised himself with the plant’s current operations and development prospects.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasised the importance of developing domestic industry and noted the need to support production facilities focused on the domestic market and infrastructure projects.
