06/11/2025, 10:05In January-April 2025, the volume of retail trade turnover in Kyrgyzstan, except for trade in cars and motorcycles, increased in all regions of the country, except Jalal-Abad oblast. Compared to the same period last year, the total turnover increased from 134.6 to 164.8 billion KGS, which is an increase of 15.2%.
By regions, in Batken oblast the turnover increased by 1.5% and amounted to 4.1 billion KGS. In Jalal-Abad region, on the contrary, the sales volume decreased by 3.8% to 21.3 billion KGS. Issyk-Kul oblast saw a 15% growth, Naryn oblast - 3.6%, Osh oblast - 4.6%, and Talas oblast - 16.3%. Chui oblast showed significant growth - 21.7%, and in Bishkek the turnover increased by 20.4% and reached 68.5 billion soms. In Osh city the growth amounted to 31.5% - up to 20 billion soms.
In the structure of retail trade including catering enterprises, the share of food products amounted to 54.5%, and non-food products - 45.5%.
