KGS exchange rates as at 30 June: US dollar and euro unchanged; rouble, tenge and yuan rates updated

The official KGS exchange rate against major foreign currencies as at 30 June stood at 87.4500 KGS per US dollar and 99.6843 KGS per euro. Compared with 27 June, the rates for the US dollar and the euro remained unchanged.

The exchange rate for the Russian rouble was set at 1.1233 KGS, for the Kazakhstani tenge at 0.1798 KGS, and for the Chinese yuan at 12.8729 KGS. Over the past two days, the rouble has fallen by 2.52 per cent, the tenge has risen by 0.06 per cent, and the yuan has risen by 0.10 per cent.

Thus, at the end of June, the US dollar and the euro remained at their previous levels, whilst new official exchange rates were set for the rouble, the tenge and the yuan.

    In 2025, there were 22 commercial banks operating in Kyrgyzstan, 12 of which had foreign capital participation. The banking system’s total authorised capital rose from 76.9 billion to 161.5 billion KGS. The share of foreign capital participation stood at 16.5 per cent.
