The KGS strengthened against the euro and the yuan, but weakened against the ruble and the tenge

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has updated the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of January 31. Compared to the previous day, the KGS showed mixed dynamics against major currencies.

The US dollar exchange rate remained unchanged at 87.45 KGS.

The euro fell against the KGS from 104.6602 to 104.3891 KGS, down 0.26%. The same was true for the yuan, which lost 0.03%, from 12.59 to 12.5856 KGS. Thus, the KGS strengthened against the European and Chinese currencies.

At the same time, the exchange rate rose from 1.1447 to 1.1589 KGS, adding 1.24%. The Kazakh tenge also strengthened, but only by 0.52%, from 0.1737 to 0.1746 KGS.
